The Mind What Matters Caregiver Relief Fund provides grants to those providing primary care to a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias. Grants are awarded to qualified caregivers to be used for respite care to reduce their caregiver burden and improve the quality of their lives and their own health.

Who is eligible for a grant?

We support caregivers taking care of family members with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias.

What is the grant selection process?

Mind What Matters staff reviews each application and selects based on urgency and need. We expect that the number of grant applications will far exceed Mind What Matter’s resources at this time. Please know that declined applications in no way reflect the worthiness of an individual or family’s need.

How are grants funded?

Grants are funded by donations made to the Mind What Matters Caregiver Respite Fund by generous sponsors and individual donations.
